Mentoring
Our mentoring program is a multi-faceted service designed to create accountability and provide support to clients with mental health and/or substance use issues and their loved ones to improve their family dynamic.
Our mentors are highly-skilled professionals with years of experience working in the field of substance use disorders and mental health. Mentoring empowers those with mental health and substance use issues using a one-on-one approach.
Q. Who Should Use This Service?
Those beginning their path to recovery.
Those struggling with mental health and addiction.
People without a community of support.
Lacking life and social skills.
People dealing with co-occurring mental health, behavioral and process addictions.
Individuals newly discharged from treatment.
People with a history of chronic relapse.
Q. How Does it Work?
Clients meet in person with an assigned mentor as needed based on assessment and the customized recovery plan.
Mentors initiate daily contact.
Mentors provide life skills and recovery coaching and assist clients with establishing goals.
Loved ones (if applicable and appropriate) receives weekly updates regarding the client’s progress.
Strategic coaching for loved ones provided by case supervisor as needed.
Collaboration with other involved professionals.
Working as adjunct care to supportive and sober livings, intensive outpatient programs, support groups and with other recovery and mental health professionals.
